Frank founded Transpera with the vision of helping normal people enjoy new kinds of mobile video experiences. Frank recently ran media products at InfoSpace and ran the Windows Mobile Media Device and Services group at Microsoft. He held a senior position at Onvia, a company he helped take public, and MSNBC where he drove the online video distribution business and interactive content division. He has most recently worked in the private equity industry doing mobile and entertainment strategy and portfolio company support. Frank started his career as a photojournalist documenting the plight of refugees globally.
In his role as Chief Technology Officer, DeMillo is responsible for the technology and operational aspects of the company and serves as the technical liaison to mobile operators globally. Prior to Transpera, DeMillo was the Chief Technical Officer for Third Screen Media, where he drove the research, specification, development and technical operations of the company’s MADX platform. DeMillo also served as Vice President of Mobile Technology at VeriSign, following the acquisition by Verisign of m-Qube where DeMillo was Senior Vice President of Engineering. Previous to m-Qube, DeMillo served as founder and CTO of MediaRush, an early market leader for media distribution within the home, and held technology leadership positions at ATG, a personalization and eCommerce leader, and SynaPix, a computer graphics and video effects company.
Mr. Colwell joined Transpera from Third Screen Media where he was SVP TSM|Network Sales. At TSM he was part of the executive management team which successfully built TSM|Network into the largest mobile internet advertising network in the country. Prior to TSM he was with Yahoo where he was Director of Sales. Previously, he was senior director of sales at Lycos. In other positions at Lycos, he served as director of vertical sales, telesales and market development. Mr. Colwell was director of strategic alliances at Engage and a regional director at Adsmart. From 1996-99, he served as west coast director of sales for Pointcast. Earlier experience included sales and marketing positions at Ziff-Davis. Mr. Colwell began his career at Thomson Financial, where he was southwest regional sales manager. He studied small business management at the University of Vermont.

Prior to Upromise, Jeff was an executive at Open Market, an Internet commerce software leader that went public in 1996 and grew to nearly $100 million in revenues. During his five-year tenure, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development, Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services and head of Product Management. Prior to Open Market, Jeff was with the strategy consulting firm, The Boston Consulting Group, and served on the executive team of Athena Design, an object-oriented software start-up. Howard Morgan has more than 25 years of experience serving as a mentor, advisor and investor in entrepreneurial ventures.
Howard was Professor of Decision Sciences at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Professor of Computer Science at the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania from 1972 through 1985. He has been a Visiting Professor at the California Institute of Technology and the Harvard Business School. During his academic career he served as an editor of Communications of the ACM, Management Science, Transactions on Office Information Systems and Transactions on Database Systems. His research on user interface technology, and on optimization of computer networks led to his bringing the ARPAnet to Philadelphia in 1974. As a result of this early participation in the internet, he advised many corporate and government agencies on the uses of electronic and voice mail, implementing it throughout the Wharton School in the mid 1970s.
From 1983 to 1989, he served as President of Renaissance Technologies Corp. in New York, where he supervised venture capital investments in high technology companies. He was a founding board member and technical advisor of Franklin Electronic Publishers, one of the first manufacturers of personal computers. He has been an active consultant and speaker to users and
vendors in the information systems area for more than 30 years, and has worked with many of the Fortune 100 companies and numerous government agencies.
Since 1989, he has been President of the Arca Group, Inc., nurturing early stage companies and taking them from seed stage through initial public offerings. He also serves as a Director of Idealab, where he was a founding investor in 1996. Dr. Morgan serves on a number of public company Boards, including Franklin Electronic Publishers and Internet Brands, Inc. He is also Chairman or a member of the board of numerous private companies including CarsDirect.com, Partsearch Technology, Energy Innovations, MagicWorks LLC, and Planalytics, Inc. He has also served as CEO of Kentek and Franklin during various turnover or transitional periods. In 1997, he was named Delaware Valley Entrepreneur of the Year. Howard is a respected author and a frequent speaker at major industry conferences.
He received a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Cornell University in 1968, and a B.S. in physics from City College of the City University of New York in 1965.

Jeff Schrock is currently the VP of Corporate Development for Real Networks where he co-leads a team of investment professionals and analysts, who source, analyze and execute mergers and acquisitions. During his tenure, Real’s corporate development team has executed multiple transactions including the $350MM acquisition of WiderThan. Mr. Schrock also led content licensing and distribution negotiations for RealNetwork’s consumer business.
Prior to joining Real, he worked in Corporate Development for Yahoo! and also served as Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo! Broadcast following it’s acquisition of Broadcast.com.
Before joining Yahoo!, Schrock was the co-founder and CEO of Activate, from 1996 to 2001, where he oversaw all areas of operation including technology, product, business development and financing. Under Schrock’s leadership, Activate was the second fastest growing private company in Washington state from 1998-2000, achieving annual growth rates exceeding 275%. In this role, he managed 175 employees in seven offices and oversaw an annual operating budget that exceeded $40 million. The company was sold to CMGI in 1999 for $100 Million.
